This is what He will
say to the righteous at judgment day:
I
was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you
gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;
naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in
prison, and you came to Me.
MATTHEW 25:35-36
In his book, Invitation To A Journey, Robert
Mulholland states, "[Christ] gave himself totally, completely,
absolutely, unconditionally for others” (41). We can measure the
progress of our spiritual formation by our love and care for others. Have we
grown like Christ in service? Do we feed the hungry, give shelter
to the homeless, protect the widow and child, or give aid to anyone else
who needs help?
Do you have time and talent to give for the sake of
others?
"Love One Another" Bible Passages
A new command I give you: Love one another.
As I have loved you, so you must love on anther. By this all
men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
JOHN 13:34-35
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love.
Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep
your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in
affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God' people who are in
need. Practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless
and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who
mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be
willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
ROMANS 12:10-16
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing
debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the
law.
ROMANS 13:8
You, my brothers, were called to be free. But
do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather serve one
another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command:
"Love your neighbor as yourself." If you keep on biting and devouring
each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.
GALATIANS 5:13
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing
with one another in love.
EPHESIANS 4:2
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving
each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
EPHESIANS 4:32
And let us consider how we may spur one another on
toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as
some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all
the more as you see the day approaching.
HEBREWS 10:24-25
Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the
truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another
deeply, for the heart.
1 PETER 1:22
Finally, all of you live in harmony with one another;
be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. Do not
repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to
this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.
1 PETER 3:8
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers
a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without
grumbling. Each one of you should use whatever gift he has received to
serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.
1 PETER 4:8
All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one
another.
1 PETER 5:5
This is the message you heard from the beginning;
We should love one another.

And this is his command; to believe in the name of his
Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.
1 JOHN 3:23
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes
from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
1 JOHN 4:7
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to
love one another.
1 JOHN 4:11
No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another,
God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
1 JOHN 4:12
And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command
but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one
another.
2 JOHN 1:5
